Son Mugged

Post by catwoman »

My son was mugged on the 16th of march this year.
My boy just went down to the shops in Sydenham high street, saw the boy who mugged him, didn't have his phone on him to report him. When my son got home he told me that he had seen him.
I didn't phone 999 because he would of been long gone, when i tried phoning local police stations, no one is available and sydenham police station kept hanging up on me every time I rang.
So now it looks like im going to have to wait until Monday to report it, obviously this boy is a regular and it shouldn't be too hard for the police to pick him up. So please be aware that he is out there and he could be mugging someone right this moment.

If you know of any information please don't hesitate to post it on here and watch yourself when walking along Mayow road.

don't ring sydenham police station - it's closed.

Ring 0300 123 12 12 or try the Sydenham Safer Neighbourhood Team mobile on 07843 065921...but that will only be answered if they are on.

The moral of the story is to always carry a mobile and ring 999 in such an instance...

Thank you for your message.

I tried 0300 123 12 12 but had no reply, te receptionist gave me a direct number that just kept on ringing.
I rang sydenham police station to leave a message on the answer phone but that wasn't available and they just kept hanging up on me.
I didn't know there was a mobile number for the safer neighborhood team, the policeman who called from there the other day never gave me it but i will keep this handy now

ps My son ould of phoned the police if the boy hadn't of stole it in the first place.

thanks for the numbers
