The following information has been posted on se23.com:
Works will take place on the railway lines between New Cross Gate and Sydenham on Saturday and Sunday (September 13 and 14).
This will affect passengers travelling between Charing Cross and Sutton and Horsham including the stations New Cross Gate, Brockley, Honor Oak Park, Forest Hill, Sydenham, Penge West and Anerley.
Southern trains towards London will be diverted between Norwood Junction and London on Saturday but services from London will run as normal.
Passengers are advised to travel to Norwood Junction for stations between New Cross Gate and Anerley.
On Sunday buses will replace Southern trains between London Bridge and West Croydon.

Yeah, that interferes with our weekend plans quite a lot. Makes it a lot more difficult to get into the centre on Saturday afternoon. Ah well, I suppose it has to happen some time.
