I've noticed after the icon for PM'ing Lee, there's also a globe icon linking to his blog. I can't see how he set that up? Can his super power be shared?

OK - I give up. The logical place for this would be along with where you enter your location in your profile, but the only other setting there is for date of birth - and that's so long ago I can't remember.

Is this something Admin disabled, but Lee set his link before he did?

Yes it is disabled. Spammers have a trick of bypassing this and automatically inserting a weblink. Except this is then a shining indicator of a spammer registration and an instant ban.
