Not just WP to Twitter?
Having set up three local Wordpress sites with a plug in WP to Twitter, which I can set to that any new post is automatically tweeted to followers on Twitter, I've been trying to see if I cn do the same with posts to Blogspot, or posts to a Facebook group. So far I have drawn a blank. Can anyone advise?

A plug-in is not required for Wordpress. This and most other CMS have an inbuilt RSS feed. Several services offer a free RSS to Twitter feed. That's how this site (both phpBB & Wordpress) does it.
You may wish to look for a similar RSS to the social media channel of choice.
