Hi historyman

I could not email you directly so decided to do this instead. When I view threads the oldest posting comes up first and I can't work out if it's a problem with the way it is set up my end or yours?

Yes, it reads from oldest first. This is the logical way to show postings. Each follows on from the previous in response. Otherwise you have the answer before the question.

That is the convention on usenet (the forerunner of forums) and all the forum software I am aware of. However if you prefer to read it the other way up then there is a box at the bottom of the page to reverse the order.

So you are very free and welcome to be unconventional!
