Juwlz, Good luck on Sunday with the marathon – I hope the weather is going to be cooler than it has been over the last few days.

Can you please post your sponsorship website address for St Barts (I was going to sponsor you but I lost the details).

Best of luck to everyone running!

I'm still in training for Prague marathon which is not until mid-May, and will be dong my longest training run (22 miles) early on Sunday morning, so will be with you all in spirit. I'll also be spectating around 17-18 mile marks later on looking out for some friends running between 4.5-5hr pace, so if anyone wants a shout-out, let me know your race numbers!

:) :)

Thanks so much kster, leaf and Weeble for the messages of support!

Good luck to you too kster for sunday and Weeble for your prague marathon in may.

I have had so much bad luck with injuries and illness (am just fighting off the last of a sore throat and cough) that I will be delighted just to get round.

kster - thanks v. much for offering to sponsor me. The website where you can do this is:

Well I managed it - just about!
Made it round in 5hrs 30. Not fast, but considering my preparations (or rather lack of) it was a miracle that I got round at all.
Its easy to underestimate just how far it is to run, I know I did.

I now have some very impressive blisters and am pretty much unable to walk.

It was a very hot day and at times a horrible gruelling experience but I am not put off –
I am thinking about applying again next year!

Its not too late to sponsor me- I am raising money for the rewiring of St. Bartholomew's church - just visit my fundraising page:

Well done to everyone that made it round!
