Track improvements and maintenance are taking place from 01:20 on 27/11/11 to 04:00 on 28/11/11 between New Cross Gate and Norwood Junction.

Southern & London Overground services are replaced with buses ...

From the weekly Tfl email:

On Sunday, there is no service between New Cross Gate and West Croydon.
On Sunday, there is no service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace.

I interpreted that as meaning that some of the New Cross Gate <-> Sydenham trains were still running. I, or the email, may be wrong.

Chris - it is ambiguous. I read it to be that Sydenham lies on the New Cross Gate/West Croydon line and hence there will no services north or south of Sydenham. They then have to add the branch line to Crystal Palace to preclude a shuttle operating east/west to/from Sydenham.

The Southern/National Rail statement is clearer and a working assumption is that where Southern don't go, Overground won't follow ...

Can confirm no trains at Syd today.

Also the rail replacement buses between London Bridge and West Croydon are experiencing problems because of a serious road accident at the junction of Croydon Road and Anerley Road in Anerley.
