Many readers of this forum have visited my allotments at Kent House Leisure Gardens, and probably many more will have seen the demonstration bee hive at the Horniman Museum. Peter Springall, who was our Chairman, and looked after the Horniman bees, and many others, died early this morning following a stroke last week.
