Major police action Mayow Road

I don't like to be a rubberneck as a rule, but I couldn't help but notice there is a major crime scene today on Mayow Road, just past the little lane (Berrymans' Lane?), opposite the vets. There is a house cordoned off - there was one copper outside it this morning, but now there are lots of vans and forensics guys (white paper suits, blue plastic shoe covers, the works). Anyone know what happened?

I was told by a neighbour that it was a murder investigation, but when we approached the police when we first saw it, they said they couldn't tell us and that we should check the news.

My neighbour had asked a police officer earlier in the morning, and they had told them.

Thanks for the updates. I've lived on Mayow Road for ten years and only noticed that bungalow for the first time last Saturday. Funny how that happens.
