Forest Hill Cafe

Post by wandle190 »

Is anyone aware of the incident yesterday afternoon around 1pm at the cafe in Dartmouth rd.
I was passing at around 2.30pm & the area was sealed off & there was a forensic guy there with the police.
Couldn't see too much apart from smashed glass, surprisingly the locals seemed to be unaware of anything untoward, going about their daily buisness.

Thanks for the info.
Reading the other posts I'm surprised the police were not in attendance before this was all over as it sounds as if it went on for a good few minutes.
Is the Police station in Dartmouth rd still operational !

Do you have an idea how long between a 999 call and their attendance then?

Dartmouth Rd is still open, as a shop-hours station now.

Hope this incident wasn't between really young chaps as the last few have been.

It houses Safer Neighbourhood Teams and a Special Constables tasking team.

It doens't have any "response" team officers - the ones in cars who come out to 999 calls et al. They are all based out of Lewisham, Catford and Deptford police stations.

Have no idea with regards to this specific incident but for the highest-priority calls the target time is 12 mins max for the response time between the call and the first officers on scene.
