The Sydenham and Forest Hill Youth Forum are a collective of orgs who work with young people within the local wards of Perry Vale, Sydenham and Forest Hill.

We hold regular meetings. If anyone wants to pop their head in, here's the finer details.

1. Welcome and Introductions
2. Apologies for Absence
3. Minutes of the last meeting and Management Committee update
4. Community / SFHYF Updates – Pat Trembath from Sydenham Arts Festival. Christopher Dye from the Metro Centre to discuss work on homophobia. Melissa Knight on grant applications, website, XLP questionnaire, and other news. Joyce Treasure to talk about the film club. Stephen Huie to talk about a pop-up cinema. Mike Umeron to talk about VAL’s health check.
5. Youth Event – Update on our upcoming Youth Event. Natalie Canegan is organising a youth event for the forum. Please give her some ideas on what she can do to help raise the forum profile with young people.
6. Consortium Funding - Jonathan Slater from VAL to introduce us to the world of large joined-up funding bids. The forum wants, as a collective to put our heads together and bid for a large fund to secure provision in the local area. Bring ideas for LARGE funding bids!!
7. AOB – members to plug events for young people.
