Yes - I know its a bit rambly, shambolic etc. So maybe my camerawork is not a good guide to how the meeting went

And I should like to thank Chris Best for chairing such a challenging group of people. Councillors Chris Best & Marion Nesbit are very visible working hard for the Sydenham Assembly. I don't think our third councillor has been at all visible at any of the Assemblies. Is there any reason for this?

what was the news re. the ELL? Are they planning on mainting the current level of service on the other lines - with the ELL being supplementary? Or are they cutting any services?

Some trains will go through london bridge to Thameslink (i.e. kings cross and beyond).

No cut in normal train services.

There will be train of some description about every 3 minutes.

The to LB platform will be widened, new ticket barriers (covered), more shelters.

There may even be a cafe at the station (Brockley has a small one which is brilliant and Very well run).

Personally I have to say well done to everyone who managed to achieve all this, I'm so happy I'm welling up!

I was interested in the mention of measures to stop rubbish being left on the streets. The shops next door to me leave their wheelie bins out on the footpath every day of the week, so they get loaded full of rubbish to overflowing point, and it drives me crazy. Would LOVE it if the council stopped them doing this!
