I can’t remever if this also mutes entire threads started by that person, but it would be easy to check by trying out the feature and seeing what happens to existing threads.

Well, yes. That’s what it means to ‘mute’ a user. I don’t think the OP was asking for anything more wide ranging than that.admin wrote:
