I miss the meditation sessions I used to attend years ago in Edinburgh.
If anybody knows of any local groups/classes please can you let me know? And if not, but would like to form one, please PM me. Thanks

Re: Meditation Group
Aren't there lots of different kinds of meditation, some based on various religious traditions (I know of a local Christian-based meditation group) and some purely secular? Which kind are you looking for?
Re: Meditation Group
Yes you are right, I should have been clearer. I am looking for a Mindfulness or one of the forms of Buddhist Meditations. If I don't find an existent group I will form one myself.
Thank you Robin.

Re: Meditation Group
Good luck. I was in a mindfulness group at one time, but I never quite got the point. I don't think I'm the meditative type.
Re: Meditation Group

As a tense, intense, hot tempered latin person I can’t say it sits easily with me either... But I have come to the conclusion that (as a non religious person) by-passing reasoning is the only way I can somehow withstand what for me is a truly tortuous & potentially cataclysmic political situation - both at national and international levels. Thanks again

Re: Meditation Group
I've seen ads up for mindfulness things in Sydenham. I'm now racking my brains to think where...
One of the cafe noticeboards, I think? Blue Mountain, most likely, though possibly Cherry & Ice.

Yes: have just been to Blue Mountain and sure enough there it was, exactly what I am after! Mindfulness combined with Yoga, perfect...
Thank you so much.
