Yellow lines at the back of Sydenham station

Post by Mrs.E »

Does anyone know why they have decided to put double and single yellow lines at the back to the station?

Thank you for your 'helpful' comment bensonby

I was asking if anyone knew why they have started to restrict people (including people that live there) from parking.

probably because of its proximity to the station - to stop people parking there and congesting it up. It's a relatively narrow road and I can see why lots of people would want to park there - thus limiting access to the rest of the road. People that live there have no more right to park on a public road there than anyone else, one doesn't have any ownership or claim over the public highway outside of one's abode.....unless a residents parking schem is put in place.

For a definitive answer contact the council....

no, I'm against them in principle.
