El Ruedo Tapas Restaurant
Here comes a restaurant review - Having read on STF that the Mexican restaurant on Sydenham high street had changed hands / management and was now EL RUEDO tapas restaurant, I decided to test out this new business. We were warmly greeted by the new owner who was keen to listen to the wants and needs...

The 356 route continues to be diverted down to Fairlawn park resulting in multiple potentially lethal and deep pot holes down this road! I've observed a number of vehicles swerving to avoid these gaping pot holes merely missing the side of the pavement and other parked cars. The tarmac is not left t...

While STF is busy debating the posh and not so posh roads in Sydenham and LB Lewisham is busy approving yet MORE Betting shops up and down Sydenham High street, Bromley council has been busy making vast improvements to our nearby neighbour Penge. Maple Road market will be re-opening in full swing on...

Firstly thanks to the first poster for alerting us to this awful proposal. I agree with most of the posters concerns and would hate for there to be yet another betting shop opening up on the high street!!! How ironic that when most family-type businesses are struggling in this recession, you get thi...

Ditto the above really. I enjoy living here - gets you quickly into Charing Cross and the South bank for galleries etc; the High street for its range of bars/pubs, nice cafes, some good restaurants, a treat of a bookshop; one or two ok clothes shops; the friendliest dry cleaners and shoesmith. Good ...

Yes Simon, I agree that the vast majority of dog owners are indeed responsible and I imagine do take care of the mess after their dogs. But it only takes one irresponsible and selfish dog owner who can't be bothered to pick up their dogs poo to create the view that slurs the image of the vast majori...

Dog Mess throughout Fairlawn Park
I was walking down Fairlawn park and was struck by the sheer amount of dog poo up and down this street. It was revolting particularly as I could not get the dog mess off my shoes so I was probably responsible for spreading it down the street even more - sorry folks if you happened to tread into it t...
