Fantastic second hand book room, loads of old and new titles.
Go to Lower Sydenham station and keep on going down Kangley Bridge Road until you get to Bromley House where Book Aid is based.
Treat yourselves to something different to read. Very reasonable prices.
There's comfy chairs too.......
Anyone been to Book Aid in Kangley Bridge Road?
Re: Anyone been to Book Aid in Kangley Bridge Road?
Heard a fair bit about it, but never been. Think it's the wrong side of the railway for me?

It's on the Lower Syd ticket office side of the tracks, HTH
Re: Anyone been to Book Aid in Kangley Bridge Road?
Book Aid have had some new local visitors as a result of this forum...... great!
They have a Book-room upstairs with many titles, a good selection of decorative covered old fiction for all you vintage enthusiasts, non-fiction, autobiographies, biographies, music, some new titles but all donated so they are good value, some antiquarian books as well as theology books.
Why not take time to go and visit, they are happy to see you and explain what they do, you'll be in for a treat.
Hidden gem of a place IMO.

Didn't realise they were that wide-ranging. Thanks. Still rather the wrong side of the railway for me, though.
