After a well earned break, Sounds of the Suburbs Promotions are in the process of organising a repeat of 2005’s hugely successful Bowl Music Festival.
The free festival is planned for Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2007 at the Crystal Palace Park Bowl.
Anybody who wants to be a part of the festival - as a performer or just helping out, should get in touch.
The Bowl is a free festival relying on volunteers and the goodwill of the local community.
Volunteering involves selling programmes, putting up banners, painting signs, driving vans, humping gear on stages, doing office admin type stuff, litter picking, distributing flyers, etc.
All posts are unpaid but the benefits include (but are not limited to): being fed, meeting new friends, and getting a feeling of self satisfaction at having contributed to a fantastic festival (face paint not compulsory!) It’s also a great project to add to your portfolio.
