Dear all
My hubby and I have rather outgrown our one-bed flat and would dearly love to stay in the CP-Sydenham area. As he's an artist, finding somewhere with suitable studio space has proved all but impossible as places are either too big or too small - I'm starting to feel like Goldilocks! So we've started considering a self-build option.
We don't want a lot of land, just enough to build a modern interpretation of a coach house. With a small garden or roof terrace space for me and my tomato plants. So I thought I'd ask on here if anyone is willing to consider selling the end of their garden? Or maybe there are out-buildings to the side or at the end of a plot that don't get used?
I realise that most people with large garden spaces live in flats as part of a larger building but some of these have communal gardens that don't get used to their full extent, and if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of space then the money could be used for building maintenance or even to landscape the remaining garden space into something really special.
It's a long shot, but everything is worth asking on here! Please feel free to pass this message around. We would consider other areas of London but this area is our first choice by a long chalk.
Let PM me if you have any thoughts.
