Over 50 events in comedy, dance, visual art and music, including Word Explosion a celebration of children’s literature, with an open-air production of The Jungle Book, readings from the work of Roald Dahl, Manga, poetry workshops, and lots more, will run over two weeks from July 1.

Also, Guardian columnist Lucy Mangan will be hosting a debate with three high profile writers of fiction for teenage girls on the future of reading and writing for teens.
