Close sources tell me that our own Robin was involved in a superb rendition of The Messiah this Tuesday at the Royal Festival Hall. A joint effort from Lewisham and Hackney Choral Societies, which apparently are among the best large amateur choirs in London. We should be proud of him, and urge him not to let his natural modesty inhibit him from telling us of future performances!
(He should be in there rehearsing somewhere among the tenors )
Robin is too modest

Admin - what's STF policy on 'outing' fellow forumites as choristers?

Allow me to drop the teasing tone of the OP. It really was worth going to - what I wrote was not meant ironically!

Out and proud, Rachael. And I'm glad Tim's close source enjoyed our 'rendition' - or 'rendering' as we used to say in those long-forgotten days when we all spoke British English. And, now I'm properly in old fogey mode, I hope (at the risk of appearing ungracious to a very warm and appreciative audience), s/he was one of those who followed time-honoured but now alas apparently fading traditions by standing up for the Hallelujah Chorus and by refraining from CLAPPING (yes, really!) individual numbers. There is a code, dammit.
It's certainly a wonderful work to sing (although it was a bit cruel of Mynheer Handel to give the tenors an exposed top A in the last bars of the final chorus, when we're all knackered ).

Glad to hear it, Robin.
My daughter was singing at the South Bank last week as part of a festival for school choirs. They sing very challenging pieces in eight part harmonies. Makes me cry every time.
