First snowdrop?
Re: First snowdrop?
It's great to see what's coming up isn't it and hopefully things won't be killed off by a late winter in the next month or two. Have you ever tried growing frittilaria bulbs? I did some years back - most beautiful delicate flowers. Some pictures are a bit misleading as like a snowdrop only one flower arrives on each bulb (albeit you could crowd them, though jolly expensive). I recall they became a protected species at one point so not even sure if you could get them now and of course too late for this year. Crocus time soon.

I expect it'll be a delightfully fragrant spring this year have had such a mild winter thus far. Farmers are very happy at the lush greenness of their fields for this time of year.
And now first crocus ...
and also blossom on my aquadulce broad beans!
