Does anyone know of a local charity that will come and collect a couple of hundred books? I don't want to wait until the next time the British Heart Foundation leave a little bag and then put out lots of heavy boxes for them! Can the hospice use them, I wonder? Suggestions appreciated.
You can ring the British Heart Foundation shop in Penge (020 8659 4456) and they will collect. You'll have to wait for the driver to contact you to give a timescale, though.
St. Christopher's also do this service, but last time I had to wait over a month for a collection....
