Attempted armed robbery at Londis

Yesterday afternoon two young offenders attempted to hold up Londis in upper Sydenham. They demanded cash from the till but the cashier couldn't (or wouldn't) open it.

He was pistol whipped in the eye.

He will recover but the experience will undoubtably stay with him for a while to come.

The offenders were young and wore masks. Sorry I can't give you any more details but I only heard of this today from the lady at the till in Londis today.
