Photography - Street Exhibition

Post by nasaroc »

A"street" exhibition of local photography is now running in Sydenham Road and Forest Hill centre as part of the Sydenham Arts Festival.

Screens in the windows of Kirkdale Bookshop, ICT Computers, Arbico Computers (opposite The Dolphin) and Robert Stanford in FH are showing photographs which have been submitted by photographers. The photos are of local life in SE26 and SE23 but photos of the Festival "in action" are welcomed when things get underway this weekend.

To submit your photos - or to see the entire collection, please visit:

www.flckr.com/groups/sydenhamartsfestival

If you decide to submit your own photos they'll appear on all of the four screens shortly afterwards!

And throughout the Festival there is a PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION in Forest Hill Library and KEEPING SHOP: PORTRAIT OF A HIGH STREET, a collection of portraits taken of over 70 shops and businesses by Ann Pownall at Here for Good.
