London open house weekend

Post by Thomas »

A quick look at SE23.com reminds me that the next London open house weekend takes place next month - a great opportunity to take a look at some of the more noteworthy buildings in London - details can be found on this link:

Sadly there are no buildings on view in SE26 - though there are a number of buildings in Forest Hill, Honor Oak and Dulwich to visit and I would particularly recommend a tour of the Capitol in Forest Hill having been last year. Does anyone have any suggestions for which buildings in SE26 should take part in future years?

If people havn't seen the inside of Dulwich College before its well worth a Gander. I assume they'll be showing you the Master's Library, The Great Hall, The Boardroom and the James Caird.

See which films you recognise the great hall from!

I agree with Bensonby, the tour of the college is excellent.

As far as SE26 is concerned, maybe Sydenham Society will arrange for a guided tour of The Greyhound, and its beautiful hoardings.
