Can anyone recommend a good bathroom fitter?

Post by richnotrich »

Hi

Does anyone know a reliable, reasonably priced person who could put a new bathroom and downstairs cloakroom in my house in Upper Syd? The guy I had booked suddenly upped his estimate by 60% five days before he was due to start! Any leads gratefully received.

By the way, this is my first post here but I've been reading the forum avidly since moving to Sydenham six months ago, and this forum has made me love this area. Easily the best community webiste I've seen.

Thanks.

mmmmmm..., I'm rather loathe to reply to you Ritchie as I do have the name of a plumber but I'm going to want him for myself very soon (and your bathroom might hold up my shower installation...... BUT; as you're new...

H & M Plumbing and Heating Services,
Lee Green, London SE12
Tel 020 8851 0737
Mob 07774 833633

We got this guys name from Waterloo Plumbing where we bought our shower. The shop manager said they recommend him all the time because he does good work. He hasn't actually started on our shower yet because we haven't bought the tiles so I can't personnally recommend him. But we're going to have him round as soon as we find time to go back to the tile shop.
