Does anyone know what is happening with the roadworks by the
pedestrian crossing on Sydenham Road? I dont think I've ever seen anyone doing any work on it although there does seem to be a nice pond appearing in the hole.
The only alternatives I have to walk the children to school is to cross at the Post Office and then take a chance at Newlands Park, or to cross at the dangerous Zebra on the Railway Bridge.
I can only think they're "waiting for a part" to finish the job.
