Hostel at Peak Hill

I've just found out that there's going to be a Hostel on Peak Hill, is this true?
Also can someone tell me how big it is, where it is on Peak Hill and what kind of people will be in habiting it.

I'm very concerned!

Why don't you email our local councillors to ask? They should be able to find out as I imagine there would have been a planning application for such a development.

An application to convert 53 Peak Hill into a hostel was lodged around two years ago and turned down. Planning permission has subsequently been granted to turn the house into three flats - you can view this planning application (and all others in Lewisham) at this link:

Could I tactfully suggest to the original poster that this is perhaps a case where it may have been better trying to establish some basic facts before making a posting?
