Kirkdale Bookshop

Post by squig »

:D :D :D Anyone else been to see Father Christmas at Kirkdale Bookshop?

Took my little boy on Saturday and we were delighted with mince pies, mulled wine, & to be given a lovely book all wrapped up, as well as some little goodies in a bag, by the "not the real one, you know" Father Christmas before listening to the brass band outside.

What an amazing, generous effort they made- we are confirmed supporters and will be back a lot. Thank you!

Ah, is that why it was so packed. Lovely smell of Mulled wine in there too.

Yes, we had a fantastic time - a big thank you to all those who organised the event. It was well worth the wait to see him! :D

PS. He's also appearing at the Horniman Gardens 4-6:30pm this Sunday!

That link isn't working at the moment. So don't know what it says. But Santa was at the Horniman today, and very nice he was too. My daughter enjoyed meeting him as well.
