Last night's BBC London had a feature on the Daniel Morgan murder at the Golden Lion pub, calling it one of Britain's most notorious unsolved crimes. Lots of footage of the pub and the high street.
Apparently there is going to be a podcast series about the murder to raise its profile and hopefully jog some memories

Not related, and technically over the "border" into Penge, but tonight's local news had a big report on the hundreds of people who had to be evacuated from their homes last night because of the ongoing gas leak in Penge Lane suddenly going crazy. It sounds as though they had to spend the night in St. John's church.
