I found this map on the internet that seems to suggest that the new Thameslink program Meight stop at Sydenham. Does anybody know if this is true and if it is when will it happen. If it is from this map it looks like in the neer future we will be able to get direct trains to St Pancras, Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport. Can anybody shed some light on the matter?

From what I can gather - Thameslink will NOT stop at Sydenham although it will go through it.

Does anyone have any inside info to the contrary?

Is this something we should be campaiging to get ?

From what i know it has since been renamed "The Thameslink Program" and from the key on the map it says "Proposed Station". If it is been proposed then it is something we definatly should be campaining for. As far as i can see a direct and convenient service to Luton and Gatwick as well as the new St Pancres Inernational is something that would increase Propity prices and ease congestion on London Bridge Station and the consistanly overcrowded London Underground.
