It’s celebrate small businesses Saturday on 7th December and Once Upon A Storytime will be supporting the local high street by holding lantern making workshops at the Alhambra on Kirkdale, as well as offering face painting at Aga’s Little Café.

Come and see the paper lanterns I made with Year 2 students at Kelvin Grove on display in participating traders' shops. Or come and make your own with me. Santa will be at hand for most of the day and judge the three best lanterns at 5.30 in Aga's Little Cafe. Then join in the lantern-lit carol service in front of the Church of the Resurrection, led by Kirkdale's resident opera singer Sian Allen!
