Hi, I thought the library was open, but there is a poster by the main door that says it will open on Thursday 9th May... Any news?

Yes, the library re-opened today and will - I believe be now open normally, ie

Tuesday, Thursday 9.30-7.00
Monday, Saturday 9.30-5.00

I popped in this morning and it's a massive improvement, it's really light and airy, the cafe is in and it's much brighter and lighter and you can sit on upcycled furniture.

Sounds good. So, what's the cafe like? Is it a place you'd like to hang out and go for coffee and cake? Would you meet friends there? Or is it more of a part of the library with a kettle and a few chairs? (I know that's a bit extreme but you get my drift).
