Sydenham Air Quality

Has anyone else noticed a strong smell of burning in the air around Lower Sydenham station? I hadn't smelt it for quite a few months, after noticing it many times before, but Friday it was extremely strong in Lower Sydenham, and today I noticed it again. It is a really nasty, choking smell, any ideas anyone? The air quality is already so bad in London, I am interested in anything that can be done to improve it.
