SEE3 - Make a Lantern at Stag & Bow - Sat 9am - free

Although we have decided to postpone the Lantern Parade until next Christmas (because it would definitely have finished us off...), we will still be running Lantern-making sessions up until Christmas around the SEE3 area.

These workshops are aimed mainly at children, and the first is at Stag and Bow in Forest Hill tomorrow morning at 9am (sharp!) until midday. The workshop and materials are all free, and you'll be under the expert guidance of Cyrus Colquit, crafts teacher extraordinaire.

I don't have a picture at the moment (remedied later), but you'll learn how to make a simple pyramid-shaped lantern, using willow sticks, tissue paper and lots of glue! You can use an LED light for the lantern, so there are no safety issues. These LEDs will be available next week from the Jill Community Hub, at cost price (they aren't expensive).
