Sydenham And Borders

Post by squig »

Hello!

I will be singing for the Dr Hadwen Trust charity event at Canvas & Cream, 18 London Road, Forest Hill, SE23 3HF (opposite the train station) on 2nd October- I hope you can make it, I know it's not within the borders of Sydenham but I am, so I hope the post is allowed!

The concert is in aid of Dr Hadwen Trust, the UK's leading non-animal medical research Trust- they are doing incredible work funding groundbreaking medical research without harming animals. I have booked Dave Chamberlain on bass and Christian Vaughan on keys. They are top notch jazzers performing regularly at Ronnie's.

Come and celebrate World Animal Day with us, try Emily's special cocktail, gaze at the beautiful pieces of animal artwork of Martin Aveling, enjoy the jazz, and win yourself a gorgeous raffle prize from the amazing selection provided by CRED jewellery, Neal's Yard Remedies, Beyond Skin shoes, Cyrine Aromatherapie, Feelgood Handbags, Vegan Wines, Plamil Foods, and Paul Mitchell hair goodies.

Veggie food and drink will be available at Canvas & Cream art gallery and restaurant- it's where Nigella eats her cakes, and where the Saatchi gallery go to buy up paintings... as you know. :)

All tickets are £10, all proceeds go to Dr Hadwen Trust. Music, art, and animal lovers are welcome! You can read more about it at http://www.alexandracarter.com/drhadsjazz

Thank you and I hope to see you there!

all the best,
Alex
