Sydenham Assembly Thursday 14 June

Post by PaulG-LBL »

Dear all,

Just a reminder regarding the Sydenham Assembly next Thursday 14 June. At this assembly you need to decide how you are going to spend your Assembly Fund. We have 17 projects totalling over £30,000 competing for a share of £17,500. So it is up to you to come along, learn more about the proposals and then decide what you want to fund.
Voting will be open between 6.45pm and 8pm. At 8pm the other assembly business will start and you will:
hear from the Head of Transport about the high street works
learn the latest news about Lewisham and the Olympics
receive an update about the opening of Forest Hill Pools
find out more about this year’s Sydenham Arts Festival

You will also have the opportunity to meet other people, who like you, want to make Sydenham a better place to live, work and learn.
See you all on the 14th.
Paul

Just a reminder to come along tomorrow and vote for the projects you want to fund in Sydenham - here is the link for the door to door Newsletter delivered to every home in the ward
http://www.lewisham.gov.uk/getinvolved/ ... er2012.pdf

If you haven't received the Newsletter please let me know as I understand a couple of roads were missed.

Doors open at 6.45 at the Naborhood Centre (next to the Post Office) so please come along and hear the pitches from each of the groups in a market place setting.
