Can anyone recommend a good Doctor surgery?

Hi,

I'm new to the area, having just moved to Sydenham.

I'd like to ask if anyone can please recommend a good doctors surgery in the area?

I've looked around for reviews and see the four main ones are Wells Park, Sydenham Surgery, and Sydenham Green Group.
I'd really appreciate thoughts and feedback as to which ones are overall pretty alright and which ones are absolutely no goes.

Hi Pingu, I live in Sydenham and use The Vale Medical Centre in SE23

I am generally as happy as I've ever been with a doctors surgery. It isn't very easy to get an appointment but I think that is the case everywhere these days. I would most certainly not describe as a "no go".

I use the Sydenham Green health centre and have done so for at least 25 yrs maybe longer (cant rem when they first opened it) and I have always been happy with the Doctors,my children have only just moved away from the area and have reluctantly had to change their doctor.


Ps, the online booking system if you sign up for it is great!

I too must also recommend Sydenham Green. They have been marvelous as we have had to deal with a serious illness in the family. Cannot praise them enough.

I use Wells Park surgery. It can be difficult to get an appointment, but once you do, they're great and really efficient. Text message reminders of appointments and well woman clinics on saturdays are particularly helpful. And I think they've just started doing regular appointments on a saturday too.

I too can heartily recommend Sydenham Green. I have a slight dread of doctor's surgeries, but the staff there are brilliant: polite, friendly and patient, and the GP I saw there was also great.
