WHAT IF 18: EMPTY PUBS

Post by leenewham »

Here is one for the 2 Halfs.

We have other plans for the artworks in another area of Sydenham, but more on that later.

Have a look.

Excellent, Lee. Amazing how much a simple treatment can make such a difference.

In the words of Captain Picard, make it so!

I agree. Only Shackleton, I think, replicates any of the proposed Naborhood Centre mosaic roundels. Glad to be introduced to Shivani Kapoor, who I'd never heard of before. And let's hear it for Thomas Campbell, unfashionable and forgotten though he may be - the only celebrated poet who lived in Sydenham? I guess the only line he wrote that anyone still quotes is 'Distance lends enchantment to the view'.

Well, thanks for the comments, it's interesting that nearly everyone who clicked on this tread has also clicked on the wordpress link.

I have to give a large thanks to our intern, Sandra, who drew these and made it happen.

There is another coming soon.
