I know there is a car bot sale down by Sydenham Sainsburys called Footsies & does it still run....

Anyone know anymore....

Talks are underway about a boot sale in Girton Road car park, the overflow bit, on one Sunday a month. Its early days but I'll post more news when things are further advanced.

Would love to make some photos of it should it materialize. A good local photo project. Have been looking to do a local photo project. Any other ideas? Car boot sales are great fun. Haven't been to one for a few years. Hope this one works out.

Just heard from Sydenham Community Radio that there will be a Car Boot Sale on 10 June.

Sydenham Community Radio are organising a Car Boot Sale at Girton Road Car Park (in the overflow bit) on Sunday, 10 June from 10am to 1pm. Pitches (which can be shared) are £8 for cars and £12 for vans. You get £2 refunded if pitch left clear of rubbish and don't sell counterfeit or stolen goods.

Anyone who lives, works or volunteers in Lewisham can have a pitch. To reserve specific pitches, telephone 07815 709 850, otherwise turn up with cash on the day.

Entry fee for purchasers: 20p.

That's not to say you can sell can sell stolen or counterfeit goods if you pay the £2...

I am very excited at the prospect of a car boot sale in Sydenham on Sunday. I have LOADS of stuff to sell so I can move around in my house (currently resembling one of those hoarder's houses shown on TV programmes - I am not exagerating here!). Fingers crossed for the weather and lots of buyers.
