Electrical Hifi Repairs

I was wondering if anyone out there can recommend someone locally that can fix Hifi equipment. My JVC amp that I've had for years has conked out but rather than throw it away for a new one, I'd like to get it repaired if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated.
