Una Joys most recent work has, at the back of it, a focus on minutiae and mutability, involving particles, seeds and seasons. This focus expands and culminates in representations of the precarious, miraculous and monumental as imagined or remembered semi-abstract 'landscapes',
some in the disturbance of climate change, others as responses to the quiet experience of marvelling over the subtle details of the natural world.
