Rehearsal Space Plea! Short piece for Sydenham Arts Festival

Dear Readers,

I'm Ros Parker, a local actress (AKA Puck, AKA D'Artagnan from the Dolphin shows) and friend and colleague of Jonathan Kaufman, director of Sydenham Arts Festival. I'm working on a short theatre show for the Sydenham Arts Festival with another local actor, Bruno Roubicek (of the Albion Milennium Green) and we're looking for rehearsal space to use next week, from Monday 14th - Wednesday 17th March. Can anyone suggest a room that we could use?

The kind of space we're looking for doesn't have to be pretty or well-kept! We simply need to get stuck into our work for a few hours each day. Pub function rooms would be great, but we're not sure how feasible this is so we are very open to any suggestions. We want to rehearse in the daytimes from as early as possible in the mornings until around 5 or 6pm. We need a bit of space to move around in, but that's our only prerequisite.

Unfortunately, we have no budget!! So we are in the usual begging situation I'm afraid... However, if anyone can help us, we can certainly name you as our sponsors on all our promotional flyers and on the Sydenham Arts Festival website. Or if there is anything else we may be able to do that could help our cause, we are open to suggestions!

After this 3 day period we will need to rehearse again later on - probably another 5 days somewhere, but dates are yet to be decided. Even if we could not return to our original space, we'd still be immensely grateful to have somewhere to work just for next week.

Hi Rosalind - we have a fairly large & private attic room - my favourite room in the house - and it will be free during those dates. Let me know if you are still searching for a space and if something like that would be adequate. You wld have the keys and come in and out as you would wish.
