One closure, one opening!

Thought along my incessant twittering (sydenhamural) I would pop here to just say that:

BOBs wine/bottle shop has now sadly closed permanently- however the nearest specialist one is only 2 mins walk - Bottlecave on the high street.

Leo (@leo_foood on Twitter and on Instagram) have opened their vegetarian and vegan cafe inside the yoga studio on the high street. They are planning to hold events such as poetry, music and other so if you have any interest in those areas it’ll be worth popping in to talk to Jack, the lovely owner.

We bumped into Ken who owns Bobs. He said it is reopening after a refit with some new branding as a wine shop again.

What a relief - I love Bob and had a moment of panic on reading it had closed.

After walking past on Friday evening, the old Bob's shop has now been rebranded as Kenrick's Wine Merchants - looking forward to giving it a try!

Ah Kenrick is lovely, he has a shop in Fulham and used to work in Bob wines (and loads of other wine merchants). One of the smiliest people I’ve ever met. Good luck to him and team.

Kenrick's wine merchant is now open and doing wine tastings on Fridays and Saturdays! Great to have this unit back open again!

Good to see Mama Dough has been bought out of administration and will open again.
