Following 2017's FRIGHTENERS show, Sydenham's acclaimed professional theatre company Spontaneous Productions is back with another collection of spine-chilling playlets - written by siblings Jonathan, Julian and Lucy Kaufman and members of Jonathan's advanced playwriting group Darren Bird, Ida Tidy and Jane Walker - for FOUR performances only Upstairs at the Sydenham Centre.

FRIGHTENERS 2019 runs from Fri 8 Nov to Sat 16 Nov, shows at 8pm on Fri/Sat each week.

Featuring a cast of Spontaneous regulars Annie Aldington, Hjalmar Nordén, William Hastings and Jimand Allotey, the show includes playlets based on short stories by Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Dickens as original pieces exploring a range of dark themes. Expect a creepy atmosphere, shocks galore and a growing sense of menace. You have been warned...
