Lewisham Council need to address this problem and not ignore residents concerns. The service is not regular and is extremely unreliable. Myself and neighbours are constantly reporting missed collections. It's just not good enough.

Brown Bin/Garden Waste Collection Non-Service
Does anyone else have a problem with their brown bin/garden waste collections being missed on a regular basis and wonder why they've wasted £60/year fee for the privilege of such an unreliable service? Or is it just me and my neighbours?

Sorry to hear that Owlwise. I've had the brown bin all summer and it always gets emptied on Wednesdays for me. Guess you're just unlucky.

I too have always had my brown bin emptied reliably on a Wednesday. I love the brown bin. I am a reluctant gardener and 'the brown bin is full' is a great excuse to leave further work until next week!
