The eastern end of sydenham road has some attractive buildings and it has been improved with the wonderful high street renovations. However, it is let down by the scruffy state of external appearance of the upper parts of the accommodation above shops on the corner with kent house road. That could be an attractive eastern gateway to the high street.
Could there be funding to paint the plasterwork and window frames on these buildings.
The other issue is the rubbish bags dumped outside on the street corner. All visible on the approach to the high street. Really scruffy and negating to the renovation work to the streetscape.
What can be done and who is responsible?
