World Reflexology week event

Post by missT »

I will be holding a Reflexology taster Day at the Sydenham Community Library, 210 Sydenham Road, SE26 5SE
on Thursday September 25th and Saturday September 27th from 10-4 to celebrate world Reflexology week.
Reflexology is a holistic therapy suitable for all ages, and may relieve a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Reflexology has been shown to be affective for: Hormonal imbalances, Menopause, Back pain, Migraines, headaches, Sleep disorders, Digestive problems, Circulatory problems, Stress related disorders and Arthritis.

On the day you will be able to experience a free(donations are welcome) 15 min reflexology session by one of the therapists and see how Reflexology can help you.

looking forward seeing and meeting some of you. :)

Oh come on. It's a foot massage. That's it.
Any other claims are lies or deluded holistic horse do do.

Note, I don't say foot massage lightly and here's my reference since I notice you haven't provided any for grand claims.

Pulp Fiction - Foot Massage: http://youtu.be/yM0wP07wD2g

Language is a bit fruity but much less offensive than you exploiting vulnerable people.

Please take any discussion on the ethicacy of Reflexology to Town Pub.

In general we wish people to be happy to promote their Sydenham events in Town Hall to those that will find them of interest. Sometimes - and Reflexology is one - some people may feel they should object to the event or claims real or implicit about the event. It is fair that they should register that - but, as above, realise that initiating such a discussion that is likely to be passionate and mostly unrelated to Sydenham itself and therefore they should do it down the pub.

A polite posting pointing to that discussion in the original Town Hall thread is quite OK. I hope that's fair to everyone. If not - have your say down the Asylum. Am I overcomplicating things?

Hi admin
I understand.
I suppose it's annoying to leave adverts for this kind of nonsense unchallenged!
People need to know it's vooooodoooooo. :-)

If you think it's nonsense, then that's just your opinion
if you think poeple should be aware that it may not be as affective as claimed - fine, tell us about your opinions.
If you really did understand then you wouldn't have added the last line exclaiming that it's voodoo!
(even with the smily that indicates you're half joking)

(for your information - Voodoo is an African Religion - often misunderstood, but as far as I know never confused with foot massages or essential oils!)
