A while back I complained to TfL that they don't make it easy to find the long-term weekend closure plans for the Overground. I pointed out that they must know what they are, and that just giving us the info for the coming weekend wasn't very helpful. I asked that they at least include a link in the weekly 'weekend travel disruption' email. Today they have done just that.* You can find the six-month plan here: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/do ... osures.pdf
*(I'm not necessarily taking credit for this, just pointing out the coincidence**)

Overground - Six month weekend closure plan
Re: Overground - Six month weekend closure plan
Thanks, Rachael. When I read the title, I thought for a nasty minute that it was going to take them 6 months of w/e closures of this bit of the line to do all the prep necessary for the 5-coach trains. Add that to all the weekend closures of London Bridge for whatever they now call the Thameslink 2000 work, and we'd have been well stuffed.
